How to connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in Metrix

Authorize read-only access to your GA4 property and add sessions and conversions to the rest of your metrics.

Connecting Google Analytics 4 (GA4) gives Metrix read-only access to your property's data. Once connected, you'll see sessions, conversions and visitor behavior alongside the rest of your advertising metrics.

Requirements

  • A Google account with access to the GA4 property you want to connect.
  • The Viewer role on the property is enough; you don't need an admin role.
  • Only GA4 properties can be connected: Universal Analytics was discontinued by Google and is no longer available.

Connect step by step

    Go to Integrations

    From the main menu, open Integrations and find the Google Analytics 4 card.

    Click Connect

    On the GA4 card, tap Connect. Metrix redirects you to Google to log in with the account that has access to the property and confirm the requested permissions.

    Return to Metrix and wait for the sync

    After authorizing, you're brought back to Metrix automatically and the first sync of sessions and conversions starts.

With GA4 connected you add sessions, conversions and web behavior data to your dashboard, letting you compare how your ad campaigns perform against what happens next on your site: which traffic converts more and which channel it comes from.

Can I connect a Universal Analytics (UA) property?
No. Universal Analytics was discontinued by Google; Metrix only connects to GA4 properties.
What role do I need in GA4 to connect the property?
The Viewer role is enough. You don't need edit or admin permissions on the property.
