How to set up alerts in Metrix
Create rules that notify you when a KPI drifts from what you expect, by email, push or in-app.
Alerts notify you when a metric moves outside the range you defined, so you don't have to keep checking the dashboard. You can combine the metric, the condition and the time window you want to evaluate, and choose how the notification reaches you.
- 1
Go to Alerts
From the main menu, open the Alerts section to see existing rules or create a new one. - 2
Create a rule
Pick the metric to monitor (for example CPA or ROAS), the condition (above or below a value) and the time window it's evaluated over.metrix.app / alerts / newMetric

Choose the notification channels
Turn on one or more channels: email, browser push or in-app. You can combine them depending on how urgent the alert is. - 4
Test the rule and pause it if needed
Use the test option to confirm the notification reaches you through the chosen channel, and pause the rule anytime without having to delete it.

Push notifications need a browser permission
To receive push alerts, your browser will ask you to accept the notifications permission. If you decline, you won't receive alerts through that channel until you enable it.
If alerts don't reach you
| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Alert emails don't arrive | The email landed in spam or promotions, or the address configured on your account has a typo. | Check your spam folder and mark the sender as trusted, and confirm your account email is spelled correctly. |
| Push notifications don't arrive | The browser has the notifications permission blocked for Metrix. | Open the padlock icon next to the URL in your browser, enable notifications for the site, and test the alert again. |
